Versatile Ghanaian young actor, Abraham Davis Kofi Essuman, known in movie circles as Salinko, has laid out plans to start clean-up exercise in the country.
In an exclusive interview with citifmonline.com, Kofi Tankas (as he wants to be called now) said the exercise is aimed at Ghana a clean driving away sicknesses that attack people because of filth.
He explained that the exercise will take place every week at various places across the country starting from the Ashanti Region.
“I want to start this clean up exercise so that our environment will be free from filth. My project is in line with President’s initiative of making Accra the cleanest city in Africa,” he stated.
“The exercise will be on weekly basis and will cover the whole country but I will start from the Ashanti Region. I am going to do this in collaboration with the various MMDCES, corporate institutions, schools, and other associations. I only need people to lend me their support,” he intimated.
Born to Mr. Essuman Kofi and the late Mary Ama Serwaa, Salinko is the fifth of seven children and comes from Duase Kenyase in the Ashanti Region. He is married with two children.
Salinko attended Kings International School for his primary and Junior High School and continued to Kumasi High School and Faith Assemblies of God Senior High School.
In 2016, he contested as Parliamentary Candidate for Atwima Kwawoma constituency on the ticket of the Progressive Peoples Party (PPP).
He has acted in movies such as ‘The Mask,’ ‘Me Judge Akasa,’ ‘Ghana Police’ and others.
